In Japanese, Omakase means "I'll leave it to you." Omakase at Pono is our chef-choice tasting dinner. The meal is coursed out and prepared family style. You'll indulge in pasture raised Wagyu and Heritage pork from our farm with unique dishes featuring seasonal vegetables, fruits, and mushrooms from the Willamette Valley, as well as sustainably sourced seafood.
Omakase is by reservation only. A minimum party of 2 is required, with whole table participation. Please call to reserve your table, and let us know about any dietary restrictions at that time.

Shabu Shabu is one of the popular wintry eats during cold weather in Japan. In Japanese, "shabu shabu" literally translates to "swish swish" and refers to the technique employed in preparing the dish. Diners take thinly sliced meats and submerge them into a pot of boiling broth, cooking the meat almost instantly. The meats are accompanied by an assortment of vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and noodles that are also cooked in the same broth, and served over rice. Overall, Shabu Shabu is a fun, interactive meal to be enjoyed by family and friends, allowing you to chat and cook as a group!
One set of Shabu Shabu comes with: vegetable assortment, mushrooms, Ota tofu, Harusame noodles, and options for both beef & pork, or beef only. We use farm-raised Prime Wagyu & Red Angus NY Strip or Ribeye for beef, and pork loin is sourced from our Heritage Hogs.

- Beef only: $50/person
A minimum of 2 sets (2 people) is required. To ensure we can provide you with the freshest ingredients possible, please call one day in advance, as we only prepare the Shabu Shabu set by reservation.
Please have a credit card number ready to book a reservation for Shabu Shabu. Any reservation cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for 40% of the reserved amount.
